Why sex is branded as dirty talk?

Did you know ...

* Sex is just a product of marketing?

* Unless you're talking about the sex life of plants, which is far too complicated to explain.

* People in the US are more likely to talk about sex than anywhere else in the world? This includes our movies, music and TV shows. Even our language has been deemed "sex-positive." We use words like "oops," "hook up" and "ninja nookie." Oh yeah, it's because we've been told that it's taboo or shameful.

* Some people will try to ban you from using the words "vagina," "clitoris" and "vulva" in public? They will also suggest that we're not supposed to talk about a woman's body, besides saying that she has one! Anything beyond that is viewed as inappropriate.

* Sex can be considered as dirty talk? It's all because of the way we are conditioned in society. We're told not to discuss certain topics, so it becomes unacceptable. If someone gets close to these topics without including proper context, it can be considered as offensive.

*But it is not something magical. It's a product of society.

*There are no two ways about it. Sex is a very sensitive topic and one might think that it would be safe to talk about in front of your children or other people, but this is not always the case.

* The dirty talk we hear now has become so highly accepted that in many places, once you say the word "sex," men might look at you strangely. Some people may even feel threatened by this topic. In fact, some people do not like the sound of what they hear due to their past experiences. It's not just another word being used for enjoyment, it's more than that as well.

* We should change this habit as civilized people. The human race is trying to understand sexuality and the function of the body. We need to teach people how to properly use their bodies and practice responsible sexual behavior.

* It's not just about talking about it, but also about taking action by using one's sexual organs responsibly. There are plenty of irresponsible practices that we do with our bodies and there are a lot of profits that can be made from this area as well. Selling sex toys, making pornography or soliciting prostitution are just some of these practices which can be results of poor decision-making and bad habits.

What is the true meaning of lesbians?

Lesbians. The word evokes many different emotions for many different people but what is the true meaning of lesbians? To start, it was believed to be translated from French as "laies," which means "female who loves women." In the early 20th century, it defined a woman with a propensity to bond with other females. This inclination is usually displayed through heterosexual relationships. The definition did not stop there: There are also lesbian feminists as well as gay men and lesbian males that identify as lesbians. In more recent years, scholars such as Kate Bornstein and Michel Foucault have expanded the meaning of lesbians to encompass various identities that are un-defined by sexual preference or gender identity. Although in the '70s and '80s, it was popular to identify as lesbian and to have a sexual relationship with another woman, it has since broadened to include gender-fluid individuals, bisexuals, and transgender individuals. Nowadays, t...

Relationship: Do You Really Need It? This Will Help You Decide!

Relationships are wonderful when they work, but not so great for when they don't. Breaking up is never easy, so what can you do to make it easier? We'll help you decide if staying in a stale relationship is the best option for you. Relationship Tip #1:  Separate the Past from the Present If the relationship is over, it's over. Don't try to cling to a ghost of a relationship that existed in the past. The past may be a place you'd love to return to, but if it doesn't exist anymore and hasn't existed for a while, don't waste your time trying to bring back something that only exists in your memories. Focus on the here and now. Why do you want to stay in a relationship that isn't working for you? Is it fear? Do you worry about being alone? Are you being overly dependent on your partner because it's comfortable to have them around and difficult to imagine life without them?  Relationship Tip #2:  Figure Out What You Want Why are you in a relationship? ...

What are the consequences in the first month of pregnancy?

Pregnancy is a time of great change and growth in an expecting mother's life. One of the most important milestones during pregnancy are the changes that happen to her body. During this first month, there are several effects that can be seen on a woman's body such as increased blood volume, expansion of tissues, release of hormones and fluids in preparation for delivery. These signs are often referred to as the "Pregnancy Week by Week" or "The First Month". This blog post delves into what these symptoms mean and what potential consequences they may carry with them. Pregnancy Week by Week This is the first month of gestation, and is typically calculated from the last normal menstrual period (LNMP). A typical cycle may include a woman's most fertile days, which occur during ovulation. The release of an egg from the ovaries causes the lining of the uterus to thicken in preparation for fertilization. Inadequate preparation of this mucus layer can ...
